Partnerships

Rural News Network considers collaborations that fit its coverage of rural places, services and civic life. A proposal should explain who is involved, what readers would see and how the relationship would be presented.

Possible collaborations

We may consider clearly separated partner placements, relevant resource listings, event or project notices, and jointly produced material with an explicit scope. A suitable proposal is specific about its subject and intended audience. Inclusion is not automatic, and a partnership does not imply endorsement of every view or activity of the partner.

Clear labels

Paid or partner material is labelled plainly so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial content. Editorial articles are not offered in exchange for payment, and partners do not approve independent editorial conclusions. Placement wording and context should allow readers to understand the relationship without searching for fine print.

Make an enquiry

Use the Contact page to describe the organisation or project, the kind of placement or collaboration proposed, and any relevant timing or material. We do not promise availability, reach or outcomes. A conversation is only an initial enquiry, not an agreement to publish.
